The interface in this program is pretty simple.

Go to the Windows Start Menu > Bluebeam Software > Bluebeam Script Editor XX (where XX is version of Revu). The Bluebeam Script Editor: Making things a lot easier:Įach version of Bluebeam Revu ships with a very powerful application that makes creating Scripts a lot easier. The quickest way to get up to speed with the Scripting commands in Revu is to have a look at this document: Bluebeam-Script-Reference But before you sink your teeth into that, let’s have an overview of the process of making Scripts and look at some examples. This means that scripting actions can generally be applied to PDF documents that are sourced from other compliant software and vice versa. Once you’ve learnt the general commands and the correct syntax (the way to write out the script commands) you’re ready to go.īluebeam Revu Extreme supports Scripting in line with other PDF creation software (as defined in ISO 32000). Whilst Scripting is nowhere near as powerful as programming, the advantages is that it doesn’t require learning programming languages and their associated complexities. In the meantime I have upgraded to version 18.5 but I still avoid those sheets like the plague.Scripting is a powerful tool that offers the ability to automate what might be otherwise time consuming and repetitive tasks. Luckily the individual file sheets were not needed by me. I am done with that project so I no longer have to deal with those files. This laptop should be able to handle damn near anything but bluebeam seems to be a processor hog. This is with a brand new Lenovo p72 running windows 10 with all options maxed out. I never found out what the specific problem was but opening those few files made my bluebeam self destruct like every single time. I discovered that the complete set would crash but all of the individual files would open and behave properly except 2 or 3. This site allowed the option of downloading the files individually or as a set.

I downloaded it from drop box or one of those other online sites that customers use to store and distribute files to sub contractors. This was a normal sized file with maybe 100 sheets or so. Any time I opened the file it would freeze and crash just as you describe. I just recently had this problem with a new bid set of drawings from a customer.
